Daniel G. Yasho
WELLSVILLE – Daniel G. Yasho, 92, of Wellsville, passed away Thursday, March 16, 2023, at East Liverpool City Hospital.
He was born August 8, 1930, in Empire, the son of the late Michael and Josephine (Kellar) Yasho. In addition to his parents, Dan was preceded in death on May 11, 2009, by his wife, Allura (Rice) Yasho, whom he married February 27, 1954.
Dan graduated from Jefferson Union High School in 1948 and was employed for forty-four years as a forklift operator for Hancock Manufacturing. He enjoyed fishing, and he was a member of Kingdom Hall of Jehovah’s Witnesses.
Survivors include two daughters: Morna Hill (Tim Mapel) of Salineville and Danielle (Mark) McKinnon of Campbell, OH; and two brothers: David (Nikki) Yasho of Toronto and James (Alice) Yasho of Georgia. Also surviving are five grandchildren: James, with whom Dan lived and tried to boss around, Justin, Jarred, Chelsea, and Heather, as well as fourteen great-grandchildren and two great-great-grandchildren.
The funeral service will be held at 11:00 am on Monday, March 20, 2023, at the Roberts Funeral Home.
Burial will be in Yellow Creek Cemetery.
Family and friends may call from 12:00 – 2:00 p.m.and 4:00 – 6:00 p.m. on Sunday as well as one hour prior to the service on Monday at the Roberts Funeral Home, 631 Main Street in Wellsville.
